Ford Road Construction In Dearborn Will Close Hines Drive

Hines Drive in Wayne County is expected to stay closed through the summer months while crews repair a Ford Road bridge over Hines Drive.

DEARBORN, MI — Hines Drive in Wayne County will be closed through the summer months beginning March 14, as construction crews begin repairing the Ford Road bridge that hovers over Hines.

The $4.8 million construction project on Ford Road, between Golfview Drive and Evergreen Road, is expected to be completed by late fall 2022, officials said. There will be lane closures in both directions on Ford Road between Golfview Drive and Evergreen Road, with one to two lanes open at times.

The Rouge Gateway Trail in Dearborn will also be closed due to the construction work, officials said.
