Ford's Garage Plans Late June Opening In Dearborn
The Michigan Avenue restaurant will feature craft beer and numerous hamburger selections.

DEARBORN, MI - Ford’s Garage, a burger and craft beer restaurant, is planning a late June opening in Dearborn. Located at 21367 Michigan Avenue just west of Southfield Road, the car-themed eatery has begun hiring staff to fill all positions, according to its website.
It will be the chain’s first Michigan location. Ford’s Garage has four locations in Florida and, according to Yelp reviewers, the restaurant rates highly. Ryan V. of Traverse City gave the Cape Coral location five out of five stars.
“Awesome atmosphere. Terrific burgers! Great selection of draft beer and some awesome cocktails, with a great happy hour,” he wrote in a March 30 review. “There's even PB&J for the kiddos on the menu. We eat out a lot, but this is one of the few places the entire family loves. We stopped in on vacation on a Thursday and had excellent service from Brittany. She was very energetic and offered some excellent suggestions. I highly recommend the High-octane burger. It's hot...but awesome.”

“We are proud to bring Ford’s Garage to our hometown and celebrate Ford Motor Co.’s rich history with the community,” Donna Inch, Ford Land chairwoman and CEO, said in a statement.
The menu includes a 10-pound hamburger called Henry Ford’s “Hub Cap.” It’s billed as 10 pounds of black Angus beef the size of a Model T wheel, sandwiched between a brioche bun the size of a seat cushion, the Detroit News reported.
Overall, Yelp reviewers gave Ford’s Garage four out of five stars. Locations in Fort Myers and Estero, Florida, gave it three-and-a-half stars. Cincinnati diner Amanda S. gave the Fort Myers Ford’s Garage four out of five stars in a Thursday review.
“Oh my gosh! This place is so cute,” she wrote. “Everything they have here decoration wise is related to a car and it's adorable! Even the bathroom sinks are tires! The burger and salad that we ordered was SO GOOD. I got the real estate burger and it was so yummy!”
