Funeral Procession Planned Through Multiple Cities for Westland Firefighter
A formal memorial processional for Dearborn resident Brian Woehlke will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.

A formal memorial processional for fallen Wayne-Westland firefighter Brian Woehlke will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Harry J. Will Funeral Home on Michigan Avenue in Wayne.
The processional will continue along Michigan Avenue then head north on Newburgh Road to Ford Road. At Ford Road, the processional will head east and is expected to be at or near the Westland City Hall and Wayne-Westland Fire Station 1 around 10 a.m.
Ford Road will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. to both east and west bound traffic, from Newburgh Road to Wayne Road.
The processional will continue east on Ford through Garden City and Dearborn until arriving at Divine Child Catholic Church at 1055 N. Silvery Lane in Dearborn. During the duration of the processional streets and roads will be open, however traffic will not be allowed to pass the procession in route.
The community is welcome to line the processional route to pay their respects and show support for Woehlke, his family, and his fellow firefighters. At the conclusion of the funeral service a procession will follow to St. Hedwigs Cemetery, 23755 Military St. in Dearborn.
