Hundreds Turnout for Easter Egg Hunt at Ford Field

The hunt was organized by LAX Limousine and Schaefer Dental Center in Dearborn.

A last-minute approval from Dearborn city officials put smiles on the faces of hundreds of area children for an Easter egg hunt at Ford Field on Saturday.

Charlie Saad, LAX Limousines owner, organized the event along with Schaefer Dental Center, and Magical Touch car wash.

"This is our way of giving back to the community," Saad said. "We wanted to do something special to benefit the children for Easter. You have to take care of the kids."

The businesses littered the grounds at Ford Field with more than 1,000 colorful eggs stuffed with candy and toys. In addition, 50 "golden eggs" were hidden around the park with prize Easter baskets.

"It's great to see the kids having so much fun," Saad said. "We're happy to organize the hunt. Hopefully it will be even better next year."
