Milestone Real Estate Expands Into Commercial Sector

The firm solidified 324,500 square feet of major transactions in the first months of its expansion into the commercial sector

Milestone Real Estate Company, a residential real estate brokerage firm established in 2011, has officially expanded into the commercial real estate sector with a strong start, closing over 324,500 square feetin major transactions throughout Dearborn and the Downriver area. The announcement was made by Ali Haidar, President & Director of Operations.

Milestone’s recent commercial deals include:

· Sold: 140,199 SF retail center and 11.36 acres – Fairlane North Shopping Center, 5901 Mercury Drive, Dearborn

· Sold: 70,000 SF climate-controlled flex space – Dearborn

· Sold: 14,400 SF mixed-use property – 2018 S. Cedar Street, Holt

· Leased: 87,201 SF retail – Auto Part Depot, Dearborn Submarket

· Leased: South Allen Medical Group – 1545 Kingsway Court, Trenton

· Leased: 12,793 SF – Social Security Administration, Dearborn

This commercial debut earned Haidar two CoStar PowerBroker Awards for Q1:

· Top Retail Leasing Deal

· Top Retail Sales Deal

Remarkably, both awards were earned in the Dearborn Submarket and the Greater Detroit Market Areawhich are the largest and most competitive real estate market in Michigan, making this a standout accomplishment for a firm newly expanded into commercial real estate.

Haidar began his real estate career at 19, gaining experience across residential, REO, and property management. Since founding Milestone in 2011, he steadily built the company while working with leading commercial firms, laying the foundation for this strategic growth.

“My experience in both residential and commercial real estate showed me there’s a gap between the two that I aim to bridge,” said Haidar. “There are synergies that, when integrated, can enhance service. I want to bring the customer focus and collaboration of residential real estate into the commercial space.”
