Detroit native Jayme Orr will perform in concert at the Detroit Institute of Music Education at 8 p.m. to celebrate the release of her debut EP “Healed.”
She will also be signing autographs and meeting the fans in front of the Verizon store in Twelve Oaks Mall from noon to 2 p.m.

CD’s will be available for purchase at the release party as well as digitally.
Orr became popular this year after her single “Love is a War,” and has since been featured on “Today” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Tickets to the concert are $10. The Detroit Institute of Music Education is located at 1265 Griswold St.

The rising star of the Midwest will headline at Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase at 8 and 10:30 p.m
The comedian has appeared on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and made his television debut on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.”
Tickets range from $9-$14. The venue is located at 212 S. 4th Ave.
“90s to Now”

“The Trouble with Harry”
This dark comedic stage adaptation of the classic Alfred Hitchcock film makes its Michigan debut at the Monster Box Theatre at 7:30 p.m.
The comedy revolves around the problems faced by the inhabitants of a small town when a dead body unexpectedly shows up.
Tickets for the show range from $14 to $16. The theatre is located at 2529 Elizabeth Lake Road in Waterford.
New York Night Train Soul Clap and Dance-Off
If you’re feeling especially wild, stay out all night and groove with the famous NYC DJ Jonathan Toubin at his popular Soul Clap and Dance-Off at the UFO Factory.
There will be a $100 prize for the winner of the dance-off, who must impress superstar judges Joe Casey, David Buick and Sara Aldridge.
The night starts at 9 p.m. and the party doesn’t stop until 2 a.m. Tickets are $10. UFO Factory is located at 2110 Trumbull Ave. in Detroit.
