Powerball Jackpot Hits $121 million
Nobody won Saturday's Powerball jackpot, meaning Wednesday's drawing will be for $121 million.

METRO DETROIT, MI — In American history, the number 76 has a pretty significant meaning. It was, of course, July 4, 1776 when the United States declared its independence from England. And since we’re talking about the Fourth of July, didn’t 76 trombones lead the big parade?
This Wednesday, there’s another important 76 being featured. If you should decided to take the cash option off of the Powerball jackpot, you’ll take home a cool — you guessed it — $76 million (before taxes). There’s always the option of taking installment payments, too, in which case the overall jackpot is $121 million.
The winning numbers for Saturday, July 1 were: 19, 42, 45, 48, 53 and a Powerball of 16.
