Powerball Jackpot Jumps Again

Nobody won Wednesday's Powerball Jackpot. Saturday's Jackpot is in the ridiculous category.

Nobody won Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot, meaning Saturday’s jackpot now stands at $275 million. The cash payout is $173.3 million. To put that into perspective, if you did nothing with the cash payout other than stick it into a bank account drawing an unspectacular one percent, you’d earn $1.73 million per year in interest.

The jackpot has been growing since someone took home $60 million months ago. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time. The record in the game was a $1.6 billion drawing in January 2016.

The winning Powerball numbers for Saturday, May 24 are 28, 32, 33, 38, 62 and a Powerball of 15.
Each Powerball ticket costs $2. Find out where you can buy your Powerball tickets here. The Powerball game is played by matching all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball number. The odds of picking the correct Powerball grand prize numbers are one in 292,201,338.
