Powerball Jackpot Swells To $228M
Nobody won after Wednesday's Powerball drawing. See how much the cash payout for taking home Saturday's jackpot would be.

Nobody won Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot, meaning Saturday’s jackpot now stands at a whopping $228 million. If you happen to win that monster, the cash payout is $139.6 million — before taxes, of course.
The jackpot has been growing since someone took home $60 million weeks ago. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time. The record in the game was a $1.6 billion drawing in January 2016.
The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday, May 17 are 4, 11, 39, 45, 48 and a Powerball of 9.

The Powerball, of course, isn’t the only game to play in Michigan. Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot stands at $43 million, not exactly Powerball teritory, but enough to get by on, for sure. Numbers were last drawn on Tuesday, May 16: 4, 35, 39, 56, 72 and 11.
Lotto 47 is also drawn on Saturday. The jackpot for May 120 is $1 million.

As for the Powerball, each ticket costs $2. Find out where you can buy your Powerball tickets here. The Powerball game is played by matching all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball number. The odds of picking the correct Powerball grand prize numbers are one in 292,201,338.
