METRO DETROIT, MI — A 35-year-old Royal Oak man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing and shooting incident at the Woodward North Apartments on 13 Mile Road Sunday afternoon. Police believe a 26-year-old Lathrup Village resident came to the apartments to confront the Royal Oak man over a “personal disagreement.”
A fight ensued and the Royal Oak man fled into an apartment, Royal Oak Police Lt. Keith Spencer said in a news release. The man returned a short time later and stabbed the Lathrup Village man in the arm. A third man, who police believe accompanied the 26-year-old, then shot the Royal Oak man in the leg.
