Stormy Friday Leads To Sunny Weekend Forecast

Expect a cooler weekend with sunny skies after a stormy Friday.

METRO DETROIT, MI — The weekend weather forecast will get off to a rocky start on Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will likely blanket the area until about 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Expect a high of about 81 degrees on Friday with overcast skies. The good news is that the rest of the week looks picture perfect. Here’s a detailed look at the metro Detroit weather forecast:

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. West northwest wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. West wind 8 to 11 mph.
