Vietnam Program Set for Oct. 1 at Henry Ford Centennial Library
The Michigan Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall will be available at the Dearborn library on Oct. 1.
Friends of the Library-Dearborn (FOLD) is presenting a special program about the Vietnam War at 7 p.m. on Oct. 1 in the auditorium at Henry Ford Centennial Library.
This event is free and open to the public.
Donald M. Borsand, military historian, will speak about the “American War in Vietnam: 1959 to 1975.”

Borsand has studied military history, primarily World War II and related subjects on war, for more than 50 years. During Tuesday's program, Borsand will outline the historical facts about the Vietnam conflict, from how it began, to why the United States got involved in the conflict.
Prior to Borsand’s program, the public may view the Michigan Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall, which will be on display from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Rotunda of the library.
