1. Gravity

Starring: George Clooney, Sandra Bullock

Plot:  Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone--tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.

2. Runner Runner

Starring: Justin Timberlake, Ben Affleck

Plot: Princeton grad student Richie (Justin Timberlake), believing he’s been swindled, travels to Costa Rica to confront online gambling tycoon Ivan Block (Ben Affleck). Richie is seduced by Block’s promise of immense wealth, until he learns the disturbing truth about his benefactor.

3. Parkland

Starring: Zac Efron, Paul Giamatti

Plot: Recounting the chaotic events that occurred in Dallas, Texas on Nov. 22, 1963, Parkland weaves together the perspectives of a handful of ordinary individuals suddenly thrust into extraordinary circumstances as witnesses to both the president’s death and Vice President Lyndon Johnson’s rise to power.
