How did your business come to be?

The vision behind Yoga Shala slowly evolved over time. After teaching yoga at universities and rec centers I learned that there was a need for another peaceful, quiet place to practice yoga. Many people have expressed a desire to practice yoga more often and that is often difficult to accomplish at home. So after doing some research I found a great location to open a "yoga home" if you will, for our community.

Why did you choose the area you did?

Yoga Shala and Wellness Center is the first yoga studio in Dearborn Heights. We are located in a central area, making yoga more accessible to local residents.
