1 Dead, 2 Hospitalized After Overnight Shooting In Inkster

Michigan State Police said one person was killed and two others were hospitalized following an early morning shooting in Inkster Wednesday.

WAYNE COUNTY, MI — Michigan State Police said one person was killed and two others were hospitalized following an early morning shooting in Inkster Wednesday.

According to Michigan State Police, troopers responded to the 2900 block of Glenwood in Inkster around 1:20 a.m. following the report of a shooting. An initial investigation revealed that one person was dead and two others required hospitalization, police said. The victim's name was not released.

Detectives said they are still at the scene investigating. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
