$1M Powerball Ticket Sold At Detroit Area Kroger
The winner now has one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
HOWELL, MI — A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at a Detroit area Kroger store on Christmas Eve, according to lottery officials.
The winning ticket, which matched the five white balls (4, 25, 31, 52 and 59) was sold at the Kroger located at 10059 E. Highland Road in Howell, lottery officials said.
The winner now has one year from the drawing date to claim their prize. Officials urged the winner to call the Michigan Lottery’s Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to schedule their appointment.

A pair of $1 million Powerball tickets were also sold at two other Michigan stores last weekend.
The $1.82 billion jackpot was won on Christmas Eve near Little Rock, Arkansas, ending the lottery game’s three-month stretch without a top-prize winner.

Powerball tickets, which cost $2, are available in Michigan at gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores.
The last time a Michigan player won the Powerball jackpot was January 2024, when an $8.42 million ticket was claimed.
