2 Dead, 2 Hurt After Car Crashes Into Building In Detroit: Reports

Police believe speed played a role in the crash.

DETROIT — Two people are dead and two others were injured after a car smashed into a building overnight in Detroit, according to multiple reports.

The crash happened at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Gratiot Avenue and French Road in Detroit, police said.

Two adults were killed in the crash, police said.

Two other adults, including the driver, were taken to a nearby hospital and listed in critical and stable condition, police said.

A family member told WDIV all four people in the car were related.
