2 Kids Injured In Detroit Drive-By Shooting: Police
Police said the shooters targeted a home, striking two kids who were sleeping in an upstairs bedroom.
DETROIT — Two Detroit kids were injured in a drive-by shooting Thursday morning, according to police.
The shooting happened at 6:20 a.m. at a home in the 7000 block of Arcola Avenue, near Van Dyke and Lynch in Detroit, according to police.
Police said two men pulled up in a black pickup truck and began shooting at the house, striking an 8-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl who were sleeping inside the home.

The children were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and were in stable condition, according to police.
Police believe the home was targeted, but do not have a motive for the shooting.

The shooters left the area after the shooting. Police did not describe them.
