The next couple of days will be dangerously cold across southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.

METRO DETROIT — The next couple of days will be dangerously cold across southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.

All of southeastern Michigan is under a Cold Weather Advisory from midnight Monday morning through 12 p.m. Wednesday.

A Cold Weather Advisory means wind chills can drop to 25 degrees below zero, according to the weather service.

Forecasters expect highs to stay in the single digits Monday and Tuesday with daytime wind chills falling to as low as -10 degrees. Overnight lows will fall below zero with wind chills dropping as far as -25 degrees, according to the weather service.

If wind chill values fall below -25 degrees, then the weather service would issue an Extreme Cold Warning for the region.

Forecasters warned dangerously cold wind chills between -20 degrees and -25 degrees could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Monday: Chance of Snow; High 10, Low 0

Tuesday: Sunny; High 7, Low -4

Wednesday: Sunny; High 16, Low 11

Thursday: Cloudy; High 25, Low 16

Friday: Cloudy; High 26, Low 18
