3 Arrested In Connection With Freeway Shooting: MSP
No one was injured in the shooting, which took place Tuesday afternoon.
DETROIT, MI — Three people were arrested Tuesday night in connection with a shooting on I-94 Tuesday afternoon, Michigan State Police officials said Wednesday morning.
Police said they responded to eastbound I-94, near Michigan, around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday following reports of a possible shooting on the freeway.
According to troopers, investigation revealed a man was driving his vehicle east on I-94 when shots were fired toward him from a red passenger vehicle. The red vehicle exited at Livernois Avenue, police said. No one was injured during the shooting, police said.

On Wednesday morning, Michigan State Police reported that detectives had located a vehicle that matched the description the shooting victim provided. Detectives pulled the vehicle over and arrested three people, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
