2 In Custody After 3 Killed In Detroit House Fire Thursday

Two people are in custody in connection with a house fire that killed three people in Detroit Thursday, according to reports.

DETROIT, MI — Two people are in police custody in connection with an early morning house fire that killed three people on Detroit's east side Thursday, according to reports.

WXYZ reported the fire occurred in the 19100 block of Helen Street and 7 Mile around 12:15 a.m. The channel reported that fire crews were able to pull the bodies of the victims from the home.

Fox2Detroit reported that investigation of the house fire turned into a murder investigation and possible arson.

K9 units were seen going through the debris and searching a perimeter surrounding the home, possibly searching for accelerants, Fox2Detroit reported.
