Ambassador Bridge Closes Down Due To Police Situation
Traffic was closed down in both directions, to and from Windsor, with police on the scene.

DETROIT, MI — The Ambassador Bridge over the Detroit River closed down Monday morning for roughly one hour due to a police situation.
Both directions of traffic closed down. Windsor police assisted Border Patrol with a “person in crisis."
General manager for the bridge Randy Spader told CBC in Canada that the situation was "right in the centre of the bridge," they reported.

Officials said there was no threat to the public’s safety during the incident. One person was reportedly taken into custody.
