Big Temperature Drop, Rain On The Way: Metro Detroit Weather
Fall-like weather moving into the Detroit area this week. What to know:
Monday will be sunny and warm across the Detroit area before a dramatic shift in temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs across the Detroit area will climb into the 80s Monday, just ahead of a cold front that will bring a large swath of rain to the area, the weather service said.
Forecasters said the widespread rain will move into the area during the overnight hours and linger into the afternoon hours Tuesday. Highs will also fall nearly 20 degrees and top out in the upper 60s, the weather service said.

The fall-like weather will stick around throughout the workweek before climbing back toward the 70s this weekend, the weather service said.
