City of Detroit extends summer tax deadline to September 3rd due to technical issues

The deadline for the City of Detroit’s summer property taxes has been extended from August 31 to September 3rd at 11:59PM. The city experienced technical difficulties accepting credit card and eCheck payments through the web, mobile app, and at DivDat kiosk locations which began at 2PM on August 31 and was corrected by 7PM. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you were affected by this outage and were unable to make a payment by August 31, please resubmit your payment by Friday.
