DETROIT, MI — A member of Detroit City Council has been accused of misconduct, according to reports.
Gabe Leland is charged with misconduct in office following allegations he took monetary payments to influence his vote on city matters while employed as a councilman, according to The Detroit News. Misconduct in office is 5-year felony.
The allegations against Leland are supposed to have to taken place between Jan. 1, 2017, and Jan. 31, 2018, The Detroit News reported.
