Driver Ejected, Hit By Car In I-94 Crash In Detroit: Police
The man was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

DETROIT — A man was injured Thursday after crashing his car and getting struck by another car on Interstate 94 in Detroit, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash happened at 1:30 a.m. Thursday in the westbound Interstate 94 lanes near Concord Avenue in Detroit, accoridng to police.
Police said the 23-year-old man was driving a Dodge Magnum when he ran off the road to the right and went up the embankment. Police said the car then rolled back down onto the freeway and caught fire.

The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the car and landed in the right lane where he was run over by another car, accoridng to police.
Police said the car was possibly a maroon Ford Escape.

"We still continue to see drivers and other passengers not wearing their seatbelts," said Lt. Mike Shaw said. "Not only is it the law, but it is common sense. When you get into any vehicle, buckle up. It will save your life."
Police were still investigating the incident.
