Expect Storms, Showers Tuesday

Get ready for some showers Tuesday.

METRO DETROIT, MI — A Hazardous Weather Outlook is in effect for southeast Michigan Tuesday as thunderstorms continue to move through the area. The storm warning includes Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Lenawee counties. With a high above 80 degrees and a 90% chance of precipitation, except muggy conditions and showers this afternoon, with showers before 5 p.m. and storms again in the evening.

Tuesday
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 81. South wind 5 to 13 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Tuesday night
Showers likely, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Northwest wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday
Partly sunny, with a high near 75. North northwest wind 10 to 13 mph.
