DETROIT — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 75 in Detroit on Sunday night, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash happened at 7:45 p.m. Sunday night in the northbound lanes on Interstate 75 near W Grand Boulevard in Detroit, according to police.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 42-year-old man from Ohio dead in the left lane of the freeway, according to police.
The driver who hit the man sped away from the scene, according to police.

Police did not share information on a suspect or a suspected vehicle in connection with the crash.
Police did contact the Ohio man's family.
