A Video Shows A Man Being Revived In A CVS After Losing Consciousness
DETROIT, MI – As Mark Harris stopped at a CVS in Detroit last month to pick up medicine, during his trip he saw something unusual: A young man who seemed to be fading in and out of consciousness in the aisle, before he collapsed on the floor.
Harris, in an interview with the Detroit Free Press, said he believed that it was an apparent overdose situation. Harris caught the hectic situation on video and uploaded to YouTube.
The subject of the video is a young man who was on the floor when customers and employees began to approach him, trying their best to figure out what the to do. Harris' 12-minute video shows the man unconscious, and ends with him standing upright after EMS responders to give him naloxone, a drug that blocks the effects of opioids.
