Metro Detroit Snow Saturday: What To Know

METRO DETROIT — Scattered snow showers will blanket parts of metro Detroit on Saturday as milder temperatures move into the area, according to the National Weather Service.

Snowflakes will begin falling overnight before a more consistent snow pattern moves into the metro area during the morning hours Saturday, according to the weather service.

The snow will continue falling through the evening hours as temperatures climb toward 30 degrees across metro Detroit, according to the weather service.

Forecasters only expect minor accumulations throughout the area by Saturday night when the snow moves out of the Detroit area.

Sunday will be cold and sunny across metro Detroit before highs warm back into the mid-30s early next week, according to the weather service.
