Michigan Coronavirus Update: 2,171 New Cases, 17 More Deaths
Nearly 870,000 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Michigan as of Wednesday.
LANSING, MI — Michigan on Wednesday added more than 2,100 new coronavirus cases and nearly 20 additional COVID-19 deaths, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The data released by the state on Wednesday showed that Michigan had confirmed 2,171 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Michigan to 869,512.
COVID-19 deaths in Michigan increased by 17 on Wednesday, as the coronavirus death toll in the state grew to 18,355, according to MDHHS data.

As of Saturday, Michigan had reported that 703,746 people in Michigan had recovered from the coronavirus.
