Michigan Coronavirus Update: 6,524 New Cases, 35 More Deaths
Monday's updated figures bring the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Michigan to over 825,000.
MICHIGAN — More than 825,000 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Michigan, according to the most recent COVID-19 data released Monday by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
According to the state, Michigan added 6,524 new coronavirus cases and 35 deaths Monday. The figures — which include all cases reported since Saturday — bring Michigan's total number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus to 825,844, according to state data. Michigan's COVID-19 death toll now stands at 17,324.
The state reported on Saturday that as of Friday 626,254 in Michigan had recovered from the coronavirus.
