Michigan Coronavirus Update: 8,015 New Cases, 30 More Deaths

Michigan reported 8,015 new cases of the coronavirus and 30 more deaths Wednesday.

MICHIGAN — Michigan health officials on Wednesday reported that the state added more than 8,000 new cases of the coronavirus and 30 additional COVID-19 deaths.

The state added 8,015 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Michigan to 715,478, according to state COVID-19 data. The 30 deaths reported by the state Wednesday bring Michigan's COVID-19 death toll to 16,327.

Michigan reported 4,964 new COVID-19 cases and 58 more COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday.

Health officials on Saturday reported that as of Friday, 577,141 people in Michigan had recovered from the coronavirus.
