MSP: Over 800 Tickets Issued Over Fourth Of July Weekend

MICHIGAN — Michigan State Police said over 800 tickets were issued over the Fourth of July holiday weekend in Oakland and Macomb counties.
MSP also said there were no deadly crashes handled by the agency over the weekend in either county.
The agency pulled over 1,114 vehicles, resulting in 103 criminal arrests and nine arrests for drivers operating while intoxicated.

The agency also reported:
- 706 hazardous citations
- 94 non-hazardous Citations
- 22 distracted driving citations
- 41 seat belt citations
