Michigan State Police Investigating I-75 Shooting From Monday
Police said no one was injured in the shooting, but the freeway was closed for hours as they looked for evidence.
DETROIT, MI —Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a shooting on I-75, near 7 Mile, in Detroit from Monday night.
Police said that around 5:05 p.m., a man was driving south on I-75 when he got in a "traffic altercation" with another driver in a construction zone. The two vehicles continued south before one of the vehicles pulled alongside the other, police said.
When the two vehicles were driving side-by-side, one of the drivers lowered his window and shot at the other driver's vehicle with a handgun, police said. No one was injured, police said. The suspect drove off, and the victim called 911, according to police.

I-75 was closed at 7 Mile Road for a few hours as troopers and K-9 officers looked for evidence, police said.
Troopers said they, along with the Michigan State Police Special Investigation Section, are investigating a shooting that was reported on southbound I-75, south of 7 Mile.
