Romulus Man Found Shot In His Car In Detroit, MSP Investigate

Michigan State Police are investigating after a 21-year-old Romulus man died Monday morning. He was found in his car with a gunshot wound.

DETROIT, MI — A 21-year-old Romulus man died Monday morning, shortly after Michigan State Police said they found him inside his parked vehicle with a gunshot wound.

Michigan State Police said they found the man on the exit ramp to Schaefer from I-96 in Detroit around 6:30 a.m. The man, whose name has not been released, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police said witnesses reported seeing two black men leaving the scene on foot, heading for the service drive. Troopers secured the scene and K-9 units attempted to track the suspects but were unsuccessful, police said.
