Severe Storm Threat Thursday Afternoon In Metro Detroit
Expect humid temperatures and possibly damaging winds Thursday afternoon as storms move through the region.

SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — The region is gearing up for a storm threat with isolated thunderstorms that could produce damaging winds, according to the forecast. Expect temperatures to climb just above 80 degrees as the system moves across the area.
Friday will see showers, too, but give way to a sunny weekend with cooler temperatures.

There will be a Marginal Risk for severe weather today acrosssoutheast Michigan. An isolated thunderstorm producing damaging windswill be possible mainly after 8 AM. Greatest severe threat will beduring the afternoon hours.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Southeast wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. South southwest wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Friday
A chance of showers after 2pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 85. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 15 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

A chance of showers before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. West northwest wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
