Share Your Best Pet Photos For A Chance To Win A $250 Gift Card

METRO DETROIT, MI — Every pet has that moment when he or she does something unintentional that is absolutely hilarious, then looks at you with perked ears and a puzzled expression when you start laughing.

Fortunately, with the advent of cell phone cameras, we're now able to capture these fleeting antics without having to hunt down the 35 mm camera only to return and realize you've missed the moment.

Patch is giving metro Detroiters a chance to share those hilarious, adorable and not-to-be-missed pet moments with fellow readers for a chance to win prizes.

Between now and Sept. 30, email your best pet photos to editor Jessica Strachan at jessica.strachan@patch.com (limit four per family). Include your name, your pet's name, your home Patch and the community in which you live. If needed, you can also include an explanation of what led to the funny moment you captured. You must be signed up for Patch's free newsletters to qualify.

We'll post the photos of your cheeky chihuahua, grumpy bulldog or goofy cat on your home Patch site and then ask other readers to vote for their favorite. The photo with the most votes will go on to the next round in which readers from all Michigan Patch sites will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite photo.

The overall winner will be awarded a $250 Amazon gift card. Second place will receive a $25 gift certificate to a local pet store and third place will receive a donation to a local pet organization in their honor.
