Detroit Shooting Suspect Surrenders To Police
The man is one of two suspects connected to an early morning shooting Wednesday in Detroit.
DETROIT, MI — A man believed by police to be involved in a Wednesday morning shooting in Detroit has surrendered to authorities after barricading himself in a home with children and possibly other adults, police said Wednesday.
Police began investigating after a 30-year-old man was found shot to death inside a Jeep Cherokee in the 15700 block of Dexter, according to WXYZ. The station reported the vehicle had hit a home, but no one inside the residence was injured.
Police later arrested a suspect in connection with that shooting, according to Fox2Detroit.

A second suspect has barricaded himself in a home on Dexter Street, and police said the man could be armed and may be suffering from PTSD related to overseas deployment.
The man surrendered to police around 1 p.m. Wednesday, ending a standoff police said began around 7 a.m.
