Thunderstorms, Flash Floods, High Winds Possible Wednesday

Expect a stormy week across Michigan and declining temperatures.

SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — It’s cooling down around Michigan and storm motion is picking up. Wednesday afternoon is expected to bring possible thunderstorms in the region, including the chance for flash flooding and damaging winds.

According to the National Weather Service, gusts 50-60 mph are the primary threat, but forecasters also warn of other severe weather like isolated tornadoes during the storm course.

Showers will continue through the week and we drop down to cooler temps in the 30s and 40s by Friday.
