METRO DETROIT, MI — A Hazardous Weather Outlook is in effect for southeast Michigan Monday night as thunderstorms move through the area. The storm warning includes Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Lenawee counties. Widely scattered storms are in the forecast from the late evening through the night, with heavy rainfall resulting in minor flooding in areas with poor drainage.

The storm will be moving north around 30 mph.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8pm and 11pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. East wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tuesday
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 81. South wind 5 to 13 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Showers likely, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Northwest wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
