SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Thunderstorms are moving across Michigan this weekend, with a Hazardous Weather Outlook in effect for the following counties: Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe.
Widely scattered thunderstorms will be possible starting Friday night as a warm
front lifts back north into the region, according to the National Weather Service. The weather is not expected to be too severe; storm motion will be from west to east at around 30
mph.
Isolated thunderstorms will remain possible Saturday and Saturday night, mainly north of I-69, as low pressure to the west forces a warm front north of area, the forecast cautions.
