Winter Storm Warning Sweeps Southeastern Michigan
Here's the latest look at the next winter storm warning impacting southeastern Michigan this week. Expect several days of snow and sleet.

SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Michigan’s next winter storm is blowing through and a hazardous weather outlook is in effect through Wednesday morning. The warning impacts the entire region including Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair and Washtenaw counties.
Expect a heavy mix of precipitation including snow 1-3 inches thick south of the M-59 corridor, with 2-4 inches possible between the M-59 and I-69 corridor.
Total ice accumulations of one to three tenths of an inch possible, with highest totals between the I-94 and M-59 corridors. Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph may create areas of blowing snow and near whiteout conditions at times.
Another round of accumulating snow will be possible late Thursday night into Friday for portions of the region, too.
