Myint Family Chiropractic Offers Back to School Exam Specials

With homework and sports games quickly filling students' schedules, in Dexter is encouraging families to take time for a health check-up.

The business is hosting a "Kids' Day" event on Sept. 22, featuring spinal adjustments for new and returning patients at a discounted rate of $20.

"We want to emphasize the importance of kids getting adjusted, too," Dr. Stacey Myint said. "Often times there are problems even when there are no symptoms. Just like going to the dentist and finding out that you have a cavity."

Myint said children's spines can be affected for several reasons, including damage during birth, learning to crawl and walk and falling, wrestling with friends, playing sports, or sitting at a desk for several hours.
