Family Fun Day Ice Rink Benefit

Mad Science of Detroit will be just one act in a day filled with family fun Oct. 12, to raise funds and awareness for an ice rink slated to be installed this winter downtown Farmington's Riley Park. 

Tickets for the 1 p.m. Mad Science show at the Farmington Civic Theater are $7 per person, with $5 from each ticket benefitting the ice rink. Purchase tickets at the Farmington DDA office, 33316 Grand River, and at the Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market on Saturday.

Before the show, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., kids can enjoy ice fishing, a hockey shot competition, a snow ball toss and more, in Riley Park, all for only $2.
