Farmington Hills Attorney Helps 'Davids' Fight 'Goliaths'

Ari Kresch has established new customer education and property tax appeal divisions at 1-800-LAW-FIRM.

Attorney Ari Kresch, a Farmington Hills resident, is growing a business in Southfield with a nation-wide reach, to help the "Davids" of the world take on their "Goliaths".

The founder and CEO of 1-800-LAW-FIRM, PLLC said his company gives consumers across the country access to a legal system that otherwise might be out of reach.

“In my mind, a victim is anyone who is exploited because they are perceived as not having the power to fight back," he said, adding 1-800-LAW-FIRM will stand up for those clients.

To reach the goal of giving the average person access to the legal system, the company operates on a flat fee or contingency model, rather than the legal industry's standard "billable hours", Kresch said.

“We are going to get big results, or go home. There’s no if, ands or buts – legal fees should be linked to results over how many hours one can justify spending on a matter," he added.

Kresch said he will continue to build new divisions, and his most recent addition is a property tax appeal unit that helps consumers forced to pay taxes based upon a property value that is not reflective of market value. Another division is dedicated to creating educational videos that inform consumers about their rights.

Kresch also conducts free seminars at the firm’s headquarters at 26700 Lahser Road, Suite 400 in Southfield, on topics from estate planning to divorce.
