Farmington Hills PD Announces New Promotions
These promotions occurred as a result of the vacancy created by the retirement of Assistant Chief David Stasch.

From the City of Farmington Hills: Farmington Hills Police Chief Charles Nebus is pleased to announce the following four promotions within the Department, which were celebrated at a Department ceremony held on March 27, 2017. These promotions occurred as a result of the vacancy created by the retirement of Assistant Chief David Stasch on March 17.
Commander Michael Ciaramitaro was promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief in the Administrative Bureau. Assistant Chief Ciaramitaro is a 29-year veteran of the Department. He has served as a police cadet, an officer in Patrol, Traffic Crash Reconstructionist, as a sergeant in Patrol, Traffic Safety Section and Administration, as a lieutenant in Administration, and as a commander in Operations and Administration. Assistant Chief Ciaramitaro has an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from Macomb Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Central Michigan University, a Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Technology from Eastern Michigan University, and is a graduate of the Northwestern University Management School of Police Staff and Command.
Lieutenant Jeff King was promoted to the rank of Commander in the Administrative Bureau. Commander King is a 21-year veteran of the Department. He has served as a police cadet, an officer in Patrol, a Traffic Investigator, a School Liaison Officer, as a sergeant in Patrol and the Traffic Safety Section, and as a lieutenant in Patrol and the Investigative Division. Commander King has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Macomb Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Concordia University, is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Leadership at Central Michigan University, and is a graduate of the Northwestern University Management School of Police Staff and Command. Commander King is a Department representative for the Oakland County Tactical Consortium (Oak-Tac) and instructs Oakland County Command Officers in large-scale incident command and management.

Sergeant Andy Radze was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in the Operations Bureau. Lieutenant Radze is a 19-year veteran of the Department. He has served as a police cadet, an officer in Patrol and the Directed Patrol Unit, and a sergeant in Patrol and Investigations. Lieutenant Radze has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Schoolcraft Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Madonna University. Lieutenant Radze is also an instructor at the Oakland Police Academy for traffic stops and mechanics of arrest.
Officer Michael Connolly was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the Operations Bureau. Sergeant Connolly is a 16-year veteran of the Department. He has served as an officer, evidence technician and Field Training Officer in Patrol, and a task force officer assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration. Sergeant Connolly has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Madonna University. Sergeant Connolly also serves as a Department instructor for Krav-Maga and firearms.
