Former Farmington Hills Man Faces Criminal Sexual Conduct Charges
Farmington Hills Police are investigating allegations that the 37-year-old Troy Athens High parent volunteer had a relationship with a student.

An investigation is ongoing into the alleged sexual relationship between a parent volunteer for the Athens High School Bowling Club and a minor student at .
Derek Grosso, 37, was charged with criminal sexual conduct in the third degree on March 28; he pleaded not guilty, according to a report from WXYZ Channel 7. Grosso is a former Farmington Hills resident and is accused of having contact with the student in Farmington Hills, The Oakland Press reported.Â

The Troy School District has cooperated fully with the investigation into the alleged actions of a parent volunteer with the Athens High School Bowling Club. The parent assistant has been notified that he is no longer welcome to volunteer in the District, pending the outcome of the investigation. To our limited knowledge, nothing is suspected to have occurred on school property or at any school-sponsored event, so I would ask that any further questions be directed to the Oakland County Prosecutor's office or the Farmington Hills Police.
