Help a Family Raise the Roof at Farmington Hills Fundraiser

Guests at a Wednesday fundraiser in Farmington Hills will help a young family in need of a roof over their heads. 

Funds collected through Source of Universal Love's (S.O.U.L.) annual summer fundraiser held at Longacre House, 24705 Farmington Rd. in Farmington Hills, will replace the roof on a home occupied by a mother who has a child with Down's syndrome and is expecting another child. Event organizers say the roof has been repaired many times and is now in need of full replacement. 

Admission to the event, held from 3 p.m.-5 p.m., is a $25 donation. Light refreshments will be served, and Actor's Avenue, a local youth theater company, will lend their time and talents to the event. For more information, visit http://sourceofuniversallove.com.
