2 Dead, 1 Hurt In Domestic Shooting At Oakland County Apartment On Christmas: Police
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic assault that happened earlier in the day.
SOUTHFIELD, MI — Two men are dead and a woman was injured in an Oakland County domestic shooting on Christmas night, according to police.
The shooting happened at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Riverstone Apartments on Shiawassee Road in Southfield, according to police.
Police said a 20-year-old man from Madison Heights and a 30-year-old man from Detroit were killed in the shooting.

A 23-year-old Southfield woman was also injured in the shooting, according to police.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic assault that happened earlier in the day. They believe the woman's 30-year-old boyfriend assaulted her and then left the apartment.

The girlfriend then invited a friend, who brought the 20-year-old man with them to the apartment, according to police.
The boyfriend returned and forced his way into the apartment where he and the other man fired shots at each, according to police.
The girl's friend took the 20-year-old man to a nearby hospital, where he died, according to police.
The girlfriend stayed at the apartment with her boyfriend, who was also taken to a nearby hospital where he too died, according to police.
The woman was expected to be OK after she was shot in the hand, according to police.
Investigators also said there was a 3-year-old boy in the apartment during the shooting. He was not injured and was turned over to another family member, according to police.
Police were still investigating the shooting and asked anyone with information to call the Southfield Police Department at 248-796-5500.
